"Finally brothers, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may speed ahead and be honored, as happened among you, and that we may be delivered from wicked and evil men." (2 Thess 3:1)
Many Christian organizations who work with persecuted Christians around the world report the same thing: when asked the most common request from persecuted believers is that we would pray for them. They know that all that they need is from God. And they desire so badly that we would partner with them by praying for them.
This Friday night (January 9th) at 7pm we are joining together as a church for a night of worship and prayer, focusing on the persecuted church. Let's stand with our brothers and sisters around the world who pay a tremendous cost for identifying with Jesus.
"Remember those who are in prison, as though in prison with them, and those who are mistreated, since you also are in the body." (Heb 13:3)
