Summary

This Sunday we welcome Rani as our special guest speaker. Rani is a women’s ministry leader and teacher in Chennai India with Dalit Freedom Network. Her heart is for the poor and oppressed women of India- that they may come to understand the love of God for themselves.

1. Reflecting on Rani’s message, what did you find most inspiring? What surprised you?
2. What did you find challenging?
3. What can we as the church in Canada learn from the Christians in India? What do they have to teach us?
4. How can we support and help them? Is there something we can do for them?
5. Historically, the church in India has often failed to challenge the caste system, instead conforming to it. Potentially, what are some cultural beliefs that the Canadian church assumes instead of challenging? What might our blind spots be?
