Read Romans 3:1-20
Paul provides a summary of his declaration, that all are under sin and therefore all people need Jesus. In chapter three, Paul paints a portrait of how bad sin truly is and how profoundly it impacts all areas of our lives. But, the good news is that God has not abandoned us in that hopeless place of slavery to sin.

- Why do we typically view sin as not that bad? How does that hurt us?
- Why does God inspire Paul to spend such significant time on the subject of sin in Romans?
- As we are reminded of how truly bad we are, how can we move forward in this life?
- What are practical daily steps we can take to recognize and acknowledge our sin and yet walk in the grace and mercy of Jesus Christ.
